Many athletes and bodybuilders know what they eat and when they eat matters when it comes to performing their best. The problem is that it isn't always easy or convenient to sit down and crunch the numbers day after day to see how many grams of protein, carbohydrates, and fat are needed throughout the day, let alone before, during, or after a workout. When it comes to carb cycling and nutrient timing it adds another level of complexity. When an athlete has a rest day they should eat less throughout the day, meanwhile they should eat more on the days they expend more energy. The other issue lies in the tact that there is no convenient, easy to use meal planner that can show you haw many grams of carbs, protein, and fat to eat throughout the day based on when you work out and the level of intensity of those workouts. Granite Nutrition is here to change all of that. 

The Granite Nutrition Carb Cycling App does all of the calculations for you. Based on a foundation of literature, experimentally confirmed theories, and calculations, the app can calculate your basil metabolic rate (BMR) and your daily calories needed to reach your goals. It also tells you how many grams of protein, carbs, and fat you will need for the day and how much should be included in each meal based on when you train. It does all of this without the hassle of going through all of the calculations yourself. This app is like having your very own nutrition coach. 

Until now, the easiest way for an athlete to jump through the dietary hoops was to purchase a short-term diet plan from an experienced athlete or trainer, but they often come with a hefty price tag and they usually aren't very user friendly. That’s where the Carb Cycling App comes in. 

As a small start-up, Granite Nutrition set out to change the fitness industry with an easy to follow macronutrient calculator and a series of diet plans, all based on scientific formulas. This eliminates the templates, spreadsheets, endless hours logging meals and doing math or worse, guessing.
